Thank you for purchasing reMarkable Connection Utility (RCU) and financially supporting independent free software development.
There are two versions of RCU: one called Release, and another called Development. The difference between these versions is that the release (stable) version is well-tested by many users, and the development (beta) version is tested only by the author. These channels are independent, so using the Check for Updates button in the program's About Pane will only check for new versions of that type; RCU Release will only check for new release versions, and RCU Development will only check for new development versions.
This email list, RCU-Develop, is a communication channel for the development of RCU. The purpose is to drive more feedback about beta features, hopefully leading to quicker stable releases (I'll be posting new development code here when I have work to share). Users are free to send and respond to messages on this list. Users who provide good feedback about new features will be thanked with an extension to their support/updates window.
Release version announcements are not posted here. For those, please see the RCU-Announce mailing list (which all customers are subscribed to).
